Holy Communion

 I created a little card for our nephew First Communion. The poem on the front is by Polish priest and poet ks. Jan Twardowski.

Pierwsza Komunia z białą kokardą,
jak w śniegu z ogonem ptak,
ufaj jak chłopiec z otwartą buzią
Bogu się mówi tak.

The poem is about Holy Communion. Ks. Jan Twardowski says that the First Communion is with the white bow and the bow is as white as a bird with his tail on a snow and reminds to trust God the same way as we do, when we are little ones and that we always say yes to God.

I cut out shape of the card with Spellbinders Labels 10 die and added some cream hand made roses and cream bow. The bow is not tied to the card. I just tided closed card. It can be pulled out without undoing it. In the inside of the card, on one side, there is family picture and on the other some our words to our nephew.
