Poisenttia

One more Christmas card with poisenttias. The sentiment on the card is in Polish 'There is the night...'. Any time I read these words it always reminds me about well known, old Polish carol 'Jest taki dzień' by Czerwone Gitary (click). I have added cream poisenttias and sparkly snow flakes which I cut out from hand made glittered paper which I have found in my bits and bobs bag.

I have also took some pictures today to share how I made poisenttias.

I have used Tim Holtz Tattered Poisenttia die. To make small poisenttia I have cut three same size flowers, two in cream and one green.

Then I have embossed each flower at the back with embossing tool (midium ball) on an embossing mat (or mouse mat).

Ready embossed flowers.

Turn all face up.

And start gule all three together.

Press hard in a middle with embossing tool (middle size ball) after each flower is glued down.

And wait a few moments untill glue will sealed flowers. My glue drys very fast.
The flower will stay in this shape with the petals up.
I also press with an embossing tool with smaller ball so the flower get more pressed and go more up.

On the card from previous post I used one small poisenttia (1), one larger (2) and one leaf - Shadow Flowers by Spellbinders (3). The large poisenttia (2) I made of one meddium flower in green and one meddium in cream and one small flower in cream on the top.

The die has also little flower which should go in a centre of poisenttia. I did not use it now but I was cutting it using left overs from cutting poisenttias and I think I will use it to make hydrangea (tutorial by Kittie - click).

Kind regards
Joanna
