Christmas Bauble

One side with children coming back home with Christmas tree...

I have done little shaker boxes with gold glitter on both sides.

And on the other side a girl entering the room, where Christmas tree is... :)

Just added this picture to show you our lovely November weather... :)

I have printed out the pictures, which I got from Janet, on cream card stock and made two shaker boxes. I cut out two circles from 1.5mm cardboard as a base for shakers. Instead of mounting the shakers on 3D foam I have glued together three cards stock rings so I have smooth bauble edge. I shaded all edges with Distress Vintage Photo ink and added gold glitter and closed it with acetate. When the two shakers were ready I added in the middle extra two circles which I cut out from paperboard, the one the mailing boxes are made of, to save my precious 1.5mm cardboard ;) I match the thickness of the bauble to my ribbon. I attached the ribbon the same way like Arlene (click).
I added some poisenttias, pine cones, which I picked up last week (they were still closed but dried well at home) and one which I have saved from last year. Also I added some red steams, linen tread and metal embelishments.

I have created the bauble for Janet challenge at Digital Paper 'My Christmas decorations'.

Last year I have made some Christmas baubles but this one was inspired by beautiful Nutcracker Sweet Ornaments by Arlene. Thank you Arlene.
