The Owl Mailbox

supposed to be Christmas Mailbox but... it is my little owl mailbox to keep letters form our little daughter. Lucja can already write some letters and numbers and recently her favourite are hearts :)
The owl on the box is a collage graphic by Janet at Digital Paper. I printed one of the collage owls from the set and placed on the front of the mailbox.

I have printed the picture more than once and cut out tags to decorate the mailbox, there are two tags on the lid, two at the the front with metal charm and there one on a side too.

I also cut out leaves and added on a lid.

Here you can see one of the letters I got from Lucja. I will keep letters form our daughter as they warm my heart every time I read them.

I cut out the window and attached acetate behind.

And decorated the owl mailbox with little hand made hydrangea flowers.

The Christmas Mailbox tutorial I have found on the Whiff of Joy blog. Thank you for the inspiration :)
I would like to send my owl mailbox to Janet's challenge at Digital Paper 'Frizzing Nights'. I have decorated the mailbox with Autumn theme as I thought about these Autumn days which are very cold at night but there are still colorful leaves under the little frost in the morning :)
